Desperate for Help with Remote Access Connection Manager and Verizon 760 USB Modem
I've read all the prior threads and nothing seems to work for me. The modem is recognized by VZAccess Manager but when I try to connect I get an "access denied - connection not available" Upon further investigation I found an "error 711 unable
to start RACM in time" i've tried most if not all of the suggestions but nothing works. Things were working fine for a couple of weeks and then out of the blue - it stops. I am currently using the modem on our hold home server which runs
XP and there is no problem (except it is slow). So I know this is a Windows 7 issue but not sure who to call - Microsoft or Verizon? I know what Verizon would say = talk to Microsoft. Please I need to get back on line!
Thanks - Sharon

administrative tools, and then click
Administrative Tools. If you're prompted for an administrator
password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
2.
Double-click
Services. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
3.
Right-click one of the services listed above, and then click
Properties.
4.

General tab, and then, next to Startup type, select
Manual.
5.
Click
Apply, and then click Start.
Hope it works!
